The Geology graduate program offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees with specializations in:- Sedimentology-Stratigraphy
- Structural Geology-Tectonics
- Mineralogy-Petrology-Geochemistry
- Hydrogeology
Admission Information:
To apply to the School of Earth & Environmental Sciences Graduate Program, you will need to put in an application with the Graduate School at Washington State University. This can be done by applying on-line from the Graduate School website. When applying on-line, the school will automatically get a copy of your application.Admission Requirements for Geology Program:
To apply to the Geology Program, you will need to put in an application with the Graduate School. This can be done by applying on-line from the Graduate School website.
Two original transcripts must be requested. One set needs to go to the Graduate School and the other to the the Geology Program &Environmental Sciences.
The Geology Program requires three letters of recommendations from academic advisors and/or academic faculty you have taken classes from.
The Geology Program also requires you to provide the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score.
International students must also provide Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. A TOEFL score of at least 560 (Paper-Based), 220 (Computer-Based), or 83 (Internet-Based) is required.
